Management Profiles
John Easden
Managing Director
Prior to leading the Management Buy
Out, John was Managing Director of Intrum Justitia’s
UK operation. He has gained extensive senior management experience
in the financial sector, with such prestigious companies as
Abbey National, Alliance & Leicester and Legal and General.
He graduated from City University, London with a BSc in Systems
Science and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
John is a firm believer in getting
hands-on experience of all aspects of the business and frequently
does collections calls himself, as well as carrying out other
types of specialist visits. He comments: “I want Face2Face
to provide an excellent service to our clients and getting
first-hand experience of the work our Agents are doing is
invaluable in helping me to understand how we can make continuous
improvements.”
Dave Williams MICM
IT Director
Dave has extensive experience in technical
infrastructure and IT service management, gained in a career
spanning almost 20 years. In that time he has worked as a
Project Manager, Consultant and more recently as IT Director
for Intrum Justitia. During his time there he was responsible
for all Regional IT Services and Development in support of
the business strategy and goals as well as Strategic Procurement,
Outsourcing and Supplier Management.
Projects in which he has been involved
have included selection and replacement of systems, design,
implementation and business re-engineering for such notable
organisations as PepsiCo, Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank, Forte
Hotels and Exel/NFC.
In his current role as a Director
of Face2Face Contact, Dave takes an active role in developing
the systems and infrastructure of the business to ensure it
is well equipped to meet client requirements.
John Cooper
Finance Director
John is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years financial
experience, commencing his career with KPMG at their Birmingham
office before moving into industry. He has held a number of
senior finance roles in subsidiaries of Lonrho, Greenhall
Whitley, Bulmers and FKI plc.
John joined Face2Face Contact at the time of the Management
Buy Out and has responsibility for all financial aspects of
the business.
David Houlton
Operations Director
During the last 20 years David has
held a number of senior management positions within the Banking,
Utilities and more recently the Credit Management industries.
His career commenced as a Trainee Manager with the Woolwich
plc, progressing to the roles of Area and Regional Manager,
and subsequently heading up centralised Mortgage Lending and
Debt Recovery Centres for the bank.
In 2002 he joined RWE npower and spent
3 successful years managing functions within both the Sales
and Billing areas. This gave him an excellent understanding
of the utility market from customer take on to collections
and de-energisation.
David joined Intrum Justitia in 2005,
taking on responsibility for managing their Field Services
Division, incorporating both Collections and Specialist Field
Services; he moved over to Face2Face Contact as Operations
Director as a result of the recent Management Buy Out.
John Dodwell
Head of Agency Management
John has been involved in all aspects
of credit management for over 20 years. He started his career
as a collector for the Mid Essex Collections Agency and progressed
through to the role of Field Operations Manager at Intrum
Justitia.
He has held management positions with some of the leading
DCAs in the UK including Lewis Debt Services and Legal &
Trade Collections.
Currently responsible for the recruitment and training of
agents for both collections and specialist services, John
is focused on ensuring that Face2Face Contact has the best
trained and most responsive and flexible agent force in the
industry.
Suzanne Burford
Head of Field Collections
Suzanne has over 22 years experience
working in the debt collection industry. Most of her experience
has been gained at Intrum Justitia, where she moved swiftly
through the ranks to become a Team Leader, then Collections
Manager and finally General Manager for Collections at their
Stratford Head Office.
After a brief spell at Apex Credit
Management, she returned to Intrum Justitia to head up the
Field Collections Department and as a result of the Management
Buy Out is now the Head of Field Collections at Face2Face.
Suzanne’s successful management
style of empowered Team Leaders and well motivated staff led
her previous employer to the number one spot in many of the
clients’ league tables and she is confident that her
teams at Face2Face can achieve similar levels of success.
Jayne Powell
Head of Specialist Services
Jayne has worked within the Credit Management Industry for
the last 8 years during which time she has developed an excellent
understanding and knowledge of both the Utilities and Specialist
Services industries.
During the last 3 years Jayne managed Intrum Justitia’s
Specialist Field Services Division, and following the recent
Management Buy Out to Face2Face Contact she has taken on the
role of Head of Specialist Services.
Jayne works on a day to day basis with a wide range of clients,
developing and implementing robust and compliant processes
and ultimately ensuring that the network of Specialist Field
Agents consistently meets and exceeds client expectations.
